transporter rail system
Chick-fil-A
This “floating” rail system consisted of eight foot tall complex curves, supported by only two base points. The idea was to test the placement of the rails in relation to the assembly line for bagging food and create a display for stakeholder investment. In addition to the major engineering feat, our team built the rooms around the rail system along with a full equipment layout. The final touches included priming the area for stakeholder meetings and finishing the track with a coat of red paint to provide focus on the primary talking point.
We are the foamcore wizards. Equivalent to the balloon animal master, our prototype team can transform foam core into almost any shape you wish. So when a Chick-fil-A team approached us about simulating a complex rail system for transporting bags in a two story restaurant, we jumped at the challenge.
